Doctor Who is a multi award-winning British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. The programme depicts the adventures of a mysterious time-traveller known as "the Doctor" who travels in his space and time-ship, the TARDIS. With his friends, he explores time and space, encountering baddies and evil aliens, who mostly feel the need to dominate and destroy planet earth. The Doctor Who series is renowned for the design and imagination of the aliens, their spacecraft, and the various gadgets used in each episode. Such is the success of the Dr Who series that a whole business has evolved purely to produce doctor who toys, to satisfy the needs of eager dr who fans.

There is a certain history to the doctor who toys story, in that there are a handfull of truly memorable doctor who accessories. The most well known, of course are the stair fearing Daleks and the magnet fearing Cybermen. Fast forward to the present day and you will find the farty slitheen !, other favourites are the "new" cybermen, the clockwork man, ood, and dalek sec hybrid.
